The 4th grade students visited the Upshur County Solid Waste Authority Recycling Center on October 27, where they learned the proper sorting of plastics, aluminum cans, and paper. Students also saw the various machines used in recycling and how these materials are transported. At the conclusion of the trip each student received a toothbrush made from recycled yogurt containers and a small tote bag with the recycling emblem on it.
